Otoya x Reader
"I met a familiar person today," Otoya told his friend, Tokiya, and his sempai, Reiji. They looked at him with uncertain faces, as if not knowing what kind of face to make.
"How so?" asked Tokiya.
Otoya shrugged."I'm not sure. She seemed strangely familiar though. And she knew me, too."
Reiji chuckled."You guys ARE famous, after all! Who hasn't heard of you? It makes sense why she would recognize you. But...how did she seem familiar? Friend, perhaps?"
"Maybe. I don't really remember anyone like her, though. I remember a lot of my friends but I'm sure I haven't seen her until now. But I...felt like I knew her...somehow."
"That's strange, Otoya."
"I know. Maybe I'll meet her again."
"Not likely. But possibly so."
"Yeah..."
'I'd like to get to know her,' he thought.

'That was a strange encounter, wasn't it? I mean, he didn't REMEMBER me! I was his best friend for ten years! Why doesn't he remember me...?' you thought as you walked along the park. You sighed heavily and sat down on a park bench where you could see the lake. You took out your canvas and stand, positioning it so you can see the lake. You took out some paint and brushes, and began sketching with your graphite pencil.
The sounds of cicadas chirping, people walking by, and the summer breeze went past you as you continued to sketch and began to paint.
You made large strokes at first, for a base color, and they gradually became smaller as you put in more detail.
"Ah! It's you again!"
You looked up to see that it was Otoya again. You weren't sure to be happy or pissed that you were meeting him again after what happened this morning.
"Hi, Otoya," you waved, and continued on your way.
"What are you painting?"
"The lake."
"It looks nice."
"Thanks."

"Have we met?"
"Yeah."
"When?"
"This morning."
"No, but I mean before that. Have we met somewhere?"
"Yes."
"Where? I mean, you look very familiar but I don't remember you."
You sighed at him, slightly angered. But you hadn't seen each other in what, four years? He had been so busy you doubted he barely remembered you anyways.
"Well...I met you at the orphanage when I was nine. I came to visit once and a while, and we went to the same school back then. We were best friends, Otoya. We really were. Do you know how much I wanted to see you or hear your voice after those four years we lost contact? I was really hurt. I was left all alone in this city, trying to make a living by being an artist and so far I haven't been the least successful!" you began to sob a bit, and he took a hand to wipe your falling tears.
"I'm sorry. I really--"
"No! N-no! If you were really sorry, you would've tried to find me some way those four years ago! I was hoping everyday that you would find me, somehow! I really did! I really lost hope this morning. But there you are again and you don't even know who I am! Who do you think you are, Otoya?! Dumping your best friend of ten years for your music career?! A-and I really loved you too! And yet you forget me! How could you?!"
He looked at you with sad eyes, though you didn't regret a single word you said. Tears began to stain your cheeks and he tried to wipe them away, but you slapped his hand away and wiped your own tears with your messy, painted hands, leaving your face smeared.
Everyone around you stared, but then looked away as the soon meet your angered gaze.
"P-please, I'm sorry! B-but I really want to get to know you. You seem like a really interesting person....so please, let me get to know you. Maybe...we can be best friends again...?"
You weren't sure what to do anymore. You had lost control and slapped him.
"N-no! No! Do you know how depressed I was?! You were the only friend I could depend on! I could barely support my own self and worked three part time jobs!"
He held his hand to his numb cheek, which hand wet paint on it and began to dry on his face.
"I'm sorry...," he mumbled.
~~~Time Skip~~~
He was saddened that he couldn't do anything about what happened to you both. It was his fault, wasn't it? But he didn't even remember who you were and yet for some reason...he felt like he knew your pain, somehow. He didn't know why, though.
He sighed as he pulled out his key and unlocked the dorm door. He had just washed his face so the paint would go off, but his face was still red and began to swollen.
"Oh, welcome back, Oto--- Oh, what happened Otoyan?!" exclaimed Reiji as he came over to his kouhai.
"Uh...I got slapped by that girl I met this morning," he replied, sitting down.
"Oh no! What happened?" he asked, sitting down next to him.
"I...upset her and she got mad, that's all..."
"Really? What about...?"
"She claimed to had known me for about ten years and we lost contact four years ago. She had been in a depression, and couldn't support herself. And it was all because I wasn't there..."
"But you don't really know her, do you? She could just be saying those words..."
Otoya shook his head."No...her words sounded very genuine. I just...wanted to help her. I wanted to get to know her. I really do..."
Reiji thought silently for a bit. He wanted his kouhai to be happy. And suddenly, a genius idea came through his mind. It may or may not work, but it might benefit both Otoya and that girl.
"I have an idea."
With his eyes fixed on his watch, Otoya slowly meandered down the steps and towards the remaining girls. “I'm really surprised Haruka hasn't shown up yet. I'm starting to get worried.” Quickly shaking off his worry, he forced himself to continue on with the game with a friendly smile on his face. “Let's see here. For the next player, I choose you.” Before it had even sunk in that it was your turn, he gently took your hand in his and lead you to the violin case. “Good luck.”
“Thank you. I have a feeling that I'm going to need it.” Trying to keep yourself calm,
“Before we get things started, I just wanted to let everyone know that we got in touch with Haruka. She's on her way now, so this might have to be our last turn for a while.” Working fast, just in case Haruka did show up sooner than expected, Otoya quickly took your hand and playfully pulled you to violin case. “Since I picked you to go next, your seven minutes are safe. Make sure to have fun in there so we can end this on a good note.”
“I'm one-thousand percent positive that I'm going to have a good time, so no worries there.” Wasting no time you placed your hand into the viol
“This turn is going to be a little different, again. One of the players is already in the closet.” Walking away from the closet, Izumo slowly started towards the group. “I know we've done this before, but I think in this particular case, it's probably for the best. Especially considering how Yata treated Fushimi that last round.” Glancing in Yata's direction, he sighed. “In any case, you're next.” Only nodding to signal that he meant you, Izumo went behind the bar and pulled out one of the many glasses behind it. “You're partner's already in the closet, so just walk in.”
